Description
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms have fundamentally changed how organizations manage applications, but they have not eliminated change management risk. While SaaS vendors are responsible for application code, infrastructure, and platform updates, organizations remain responsible for managing configurations, integrations, user access, and other customer-controlled changes that can impact financial reporting. This course explores how change management differs in SaaS environments, the shared responsibility model between vendors and customers, common SaaS change types, and the controls organizations use to manage change-related risk. Participants will also learn how auditors evaluate SaaS change controls, leverage SOC reports appropriately, and identify common pitfalls when auditing change management in cloud-based environments. Based on the final presentation.
