Allison McLeod, LL.M., JD, CPA

Allison M. (Yee) McLeod, LL.M., JD, CPA, is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She received Bachelor of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from Baylor University, and a Master of Legal Letters (LL.M.) degree specializing in Taxation from the Southern Methodist University School of Law. Professor McLeod has also studied British and Art History at the University of Sussex, England. Prior to joining the UNT faculty in 2010, Professor McLeod held the position of Director of Tax Planning and IRS Audits for Lehigh Hanson North America, a major manufacturer of cement, aggregates and other building materials. Her practice included both federal and international tax planning. Professor McLeod also spent thirteen years specializing in Tax Planning with the JCPenney Corporation, Inc., and two years with Deloitte & Touche in Dallas. Professor McLeod is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas since 1992 and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1993.

Art Werner, JD, MS

Arthur Joseph Werner, JD, MS (Taxation), is the president and is a shareholder in the lecture firm of Werner-Rocca Seminars, Ltd. Mr. Werner’s lecture topic specialties include business, tax, financial and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals.

Art received his B.S. in Accounting and his M.S. in Taxation from Widener University. He holds a J.D. in Law from the Delaware Law School.

Art lectures extensively in the areas of Tax Planning and Compliance as well as Estate and Financial Planning, Financial Planning to CPAs, EAs, and other tax professionals, and has presented well in excess of 2500 eight-hour seminars over the past twenty-five years as well as numerous webinars and video presentations. Mr. Werner has been rated as having the highest speaker knowledge in his home state of Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, was awarded the AICPA Outstanding Discussion Leader Award in the State of Nevada, the Florida Institute of CPAs Outstanding Discussion Leader Award, and the South Carolina Association of CPAs Outstanding Discussion Leader Award.

Danny Santucci, JD

ATTORNEY AND COUNSELOR AT LAW
Danny earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Irvine in 1969. He received his Juris Doctorate from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley in 1972, at which time he began practice as a tax attorney in Southern California.
His legal career was initiated with the business and litigation firm of Edwards, Edwards and Ashton. Later he joined the Century City entertainment firm of Bushkin, Gaims, Gaines & Jonas working for many well-known celebrities. In 1980, Danny established the law firm of Santucci, Potter and Leanders, in Irvine, California. With increasing lecture and writing commitments, Danny went into sole practice in 1995. His practice emphasizes business taxation, real estate law and estate planning.
Danny has been an officer and active member in various organizations including the Glendale Bar Association, Century City Bar Association, 0range County and Los Angeles County Bar Associations, California State Bar Association, Toastmasters and Lions Club. He also avidly supports the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He has been admitted to practice before all California and federal courts including the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court.
Serving as a lecturer for the Continuing Education of the Bar of California, Golden Gate University, and numerous state C.P.A. societies, Danny teaches a variety of tax, business and real estate courses. Danny is in demand all across the country as a speaker for all levels of professional and civic organizations and numerous major seminar circuits.
The author of numerous texts, Danny speaks to over 2,000 people per month and travels more than 150,000 miles annually. He is listed in “Who’s Who in Creative Real Estate” and is admitted to the American Exchanger’s Hall of Fame.

David H. Ringstrom, CPA

David H. Ringstrom, CPA, is an author, Microsoft Excel expert, and nationally recognized instructor with over 30 years of experience in spreadsheet and accounting software consulting. He is the founder and president of Accounting Advisors, Inc., an Atlanta-based firm specializing in training, programming, and support services for Excel users and accounting professionals. David also founded Students Excel, which offers video-based training materials for college and university students.  David is the author or co-author of multiple books, including Microsoft 365 Excel for Dummies , Exploring Microsoft Excel’s Hidden Treasures, five editions of QuickBooks Online for Dummies, and Idiot’s Guide to Introductory Accounting. Jeff is recognized nationally as one of the top accounting and auditing instructors for continuing education for certified public accountants. Jeff has taught CPAs in many states throughout the country through his educational company, Jeff Sailor Seminars, as well as for many state CPA societies, accounting firms and Fortune 500 companies. Jeff, also has taught continuing education courses for other professional organizations throughout the world. He has been a presenter at several NASBA national conferences about making education more engaging.

He serves as an AICPA Peer Reviewer focusing on small firms and sole practitioner and has also served on the resource committee for the Private Company Financial Reporting Committee of the FASB.

Mary Jane has been practicing since 1993, working for a couple larger Tax, Accounting, & Audit Firms before transitioning to her own practice in 2005. Mary Jane has a Master of Management from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University in Public Administration with a focus in Organizational Development and Governmental Accounting. She is credentialed as an Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent, allowing her to practice before the IRS. With this credential, she has direct oversite by the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility. She is also a National Association of Enrolled Agents NTPI Fellow. Mary Jane has been an Instructor of Tax for Michigan State University Tax School since 2014 as well as a speaker for several trade organizations since 2010. Mary Jane has been a Contributing Editor and/or Contributing Author of the National Tax Workbook for the Land Grand University Tax Education Foundation since 2015. She writes and compiles tax course packs used by Michigan State University Tax School. Mary Jane is an author/speaker for several national trade organizations and national CPE providers. She is a former H&R Block Instructor/Trainer.

Walter Austin, Ph.D., CPA

Walter G. Austin, Ph.D., CPA was a financial planner for over 15 years with all the Investment and Insurance licenses. He is an Associate Professor Emeritus of the University of Texas at El Paso. He has published self-paced learning materials for college accounting texts, a computerized audit practice set, audit sampling templates, and several articles in journals. Walter has also written and presented numerous continuing professional education courses for state and local CPA chapters. Aside from his writing and teaching, he has given speeches to various professional and academic organizations such as the National Association of Accountants, the American Accounting Association, and local CPA chapters.
